Let's be real: Working a 9-5 just isn't enough anymore (unless you sell yachts or something).

More and more people are realizing that extra income can be the difference between being financially stuck or building the life you want.

Not to mention, if you work in marketing/communications or already own your own business, knowing how to leverage video makes you WAY more valuable.

Here's the problem:

If you're already in the marketplace, you probably don't have the video skills you need to get the results you want yet.

And if you're a videographer, you probably don't have the business skills you need to earn what you're worth yet.

But it doesn't take a career change, film school, or years of training to fix that. At least, not anymore.

I believe that combining creative ability ("pixels") with business acumen ("profit") can elevate your business, career, and life.

Hence, 'Profit & Pixels.'

If you can understand the principles of good business, and can produce high-quality video work, you become a very valuable player in the market, Whether it's inside an existing business ('intrapreneur') or you're building your own ('entrepreneur').

That's what it means to be a 'videopreneur,' and that's what I'm here to help you with.

Back in 2016, I thought I was good.

I had finally finished my Master's degree, gotten a full-time job offer, and was ready to say 'goodbye' to hourly work and side jobs. The dream of going to work, coming home, and enjoying my nights and weekends was alive and well!

Fast-forward 6 months, and all of our student loans came due. Then, our rent increased. And then our car died, and before you know it, our monthly 'budget' left us with a whopping $150 cushion each month.

Buying a house? Try getting through a month without pulling money OUT of savings first.

Luckily, I had an enterprising friend who was starting to film weddings on the weekends, and he invited me to assist.

Fast-forward to today, and I've been an entrepreneur for 7 years and made over $500,000 running a camera for myself and others. I've also made a complete career change, built multiple businesses, and even helped a nine-figure company with marketing because I brought videography skills to the table.

Every week I send out actionable information about video and business. It can be anything from a new YouTube review, to an explanation of how to charge more and still get booked as often.
